In the midst of her 6th birthday she took home a prize in a surf competition using a broken board found within a dumpster outside of her house. The first time she started surfing was at the age of 5 and by the age of six, she had already won her first contest By age 7 she had a sponsorship. Her birthplace was in San Clemente in California. Ashley's 2014 Women's Qualification Series ranking is 59th. Anastasia Ashley posed in 2014 for Sports Illustrated Magazine as well as Maxim Magazine.
